Procurement Position Opportunity

This is a 12 month, fixed term - part-time role working two days (or up to 15 hours) per week.

The Procurement Officer will oversee all contracts across aged care services with an emphasis on compliance and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage procurement processes ensuring full compliance and industry standards.
  • Review, renew and maintain contracts with suppliers for all aspects of aged care operations.
  • Negotiate favourable terms, prices and service levels while ensuring compliance obligations.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and the aged care community.
  • Monitor contract performance and risk schedules.
Requirements:
  • Personal values that align with courtesy and kindness principles.
  • 2-5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical and organisational abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality, compliance and regulatory requirements.
