Shipbuilding Fabrication Opportunity
Experienced boilermakers and welders are sought to join a major defence project in Adelaide, South Australia.
About the Role
- Perform tasks and duties as directed by production supervision and trades trainers within bounds of current competence.
- Attend and complete relevant on-the-job training as required.
- Maintain materials, tools, and equipment properly.
- Continuously improve teamwork, processes, and effectiveness in the work area.
- Adhere to management practices and company policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience in fabrication with MIG or flux core welding.
- Able to read drawings and specifications.
- Strong safety focus and ability to enhance the site safety environment.
- Strong time-keeping abilities and punctuality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information
- Australian citizenship is required.
- Eligibility for Defence security clearance is necessary.
