About the Victorian Electoral Commission

The commission conducts State and local council elections, maintains the register of electors, administers funding laws, supports boundary reviews, and promotes public awareness of electoral issues in the Victorian community.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity in the Electoral Integrity and Regulation Branch on a full-time basis. The branch recently reviewed its structure, creating new roles. This is a great time to join our team.

Reporting to the Manager, you will lead the design and implementation of activities that strengthen the commission's electoral functions and support the integrity of Victoria's electoral processes.

You will contribute to the strategic direction for EIR programs and broader initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy development, research, and review, identifying innovation, continuous improvement, and business transformation.
  • Analyzing data to evaluate success and inform planning and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in policy development, research, and review, as well as leading innovation and transformation.
  • Able to analyze data to inform planning and decision-making.

We prioritize the health, wellbeing, and safety of children and young people. Successful applicants will be required to satisfy character clearance requirements, including national police check and working with children check.
