Business Development Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Assistant to join our team at COS. As a key member of our business, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customer retention and new business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and source content to support drafting of proposals and bids for the Bid Managers
  • Collaborate with team members and subject matter experts to complete requests for information
  • Coordinate downloading and circulating tender documentation to Bids Managers
  • Maintain logins and passwords for the Bids and Customer Compliance portals
  • Complete requests for information requested by customers including questionnaires, surveys via email and via supplier compliance platforms
  • Prepare contract summaries for executed contracts; register in the contract management system
  • Maintain register of current and expiring contracts for review and action by Contracts Administrator
  • Support the drafting, proofing and completing of agreements as directed by the Contracts Administrator
  • Supporting project work as directed by the Bids and Contracts Manager
  • Action and respond to work requests allocated by the Bids and Contracts Manager

About You

We are looking for someone with experience within a Business-to-Business sales environment, who is open to training, collaborating with others and motivated. You will have a strong attention to detail with the use of spelling, grammar and visual appearance of documents, and be enthusiastic, self-motivated with ability to communicate effectively within a team.
