Electrical Fitter/Winder Foreman Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter/Winder Foreman to join our team at CE Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a small team, coordinating and working in a team environment, and performing assigned duties in a timely and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a small team of electrical fitters and winders
  • Coordinate and work in a team environment to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols
  • Ensure all work is performed as per Job Cards and current schedule of works, and that documentation is completed on time
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to service delivery that is customer-focused, flexible, and adaptable
  • Experience in strip and deburr stators, strip motors by hand and by the burnout oven, post and pre-stripping core test, and rewinding, overhaul, and repair of AC and DC motors/Armatures
  • Experience in rewinding, overhaul, and repair of exciter coils, field coils, compressor, generator, motors, and/or other rotating equipment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical fitting and motor rewinding
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage a small team
  • High attention to detail and ability to service delivery that is customer-focused, flexible, and adaptable
