Job Description

As a Senior FrontEnd Architect at Cash App, you will be responsible for designing and executing payment experiences that are highly accessible and beautiful. You will work with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration and deliver best-in-class customer experiences.

Our team is committed to bringing financial freedom to all our customers. We're making Cash App and Afterpay the most loved way to pay for buyers and sellers by designing commerce services that are more relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible.

  • You will design, build, and support web development of our payment experiences.
  • You will build highly accessible and beautiful web experiences that delight our users.
  • You will deliver features to millions of customers, shipping at a fast and exciting cadence.
  • You will work cross-functionally and communicate with our product, design, and other engineering teams to design new services and experiences.
  • You will focus on all aspects of product quality, including in-depth metrics and monitoring.
  • You will lift the skills and expertise of others on the team as a technical leader.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You have:

  • 8+ years of software development or equivalent experience with expertise in web development.
  • Experience leading large scale features, which includes planning, managing, and executing on the delivery projects in a timely manner while maintaining a high quality bar.
  • The ability to design and build creative solutions to complex problems.
  • A strong track record in helping other engineers grow.
  • A vested interest in advancing Cash App's vision of building for economic empowerment.
