Job Title: Executive Culinary Director

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned culinary professional to lead our hospitality team in providing exceptional dining experiences for residents at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional food services to residents while ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
• Oversee compliance activities related to food safety, workplace health, and quality standards.
• Manage stock control and kitchen supplies effectively.
• Oversee dietary management to ensure meals meet residents' needs and requirements.
• Manage food and kitchen costs to optimize resource utilization.
• Provide leadership, training, guidance, and support to kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.

About You:

• Previous experience as a Catering Manager or Head Chef is essential.
• Experience in an Aged Care setting is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong people management skills, including recruitment, performance management, and rostering.
• Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualifications.
• Expertise in kitchen operations and food safety practices aligned with aged care standards.
• Familiarity with diverse dietary needs, especially those of the elderly.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team within a fast-paced environment.
