About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Law Clerk to join our General Insurance practice in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our partners, lawyers, and clients to provide high-quality support and assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and drafting of correspondence, including court documents, letters, and other word processing;
  • Opening and closing files;
  • Downloading and collating documents;
  • Diary management, including diarising hearing dates and processing of documentation for court actions;
  • Compiling and sending reports to clients;
  • Brief preparation;
  • Monthly billing;
  • Assisting lawyers as necessary;
  • Other secretarial and administrative tasks as required by the Group.
Requirements
  • Currently completing a Bachelor of Laws or equivalent;
  • Experience working within insurance desirable;
  • Outstanding level of attention to detail;
  • Reliable and responsible nature;
  • Superior time management and organisational skills;
  • Approachable and responsive team member;
  • Ability to work in a professional services firm conducting work of a legal nature.
