About the Role:
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and deliver quality records of patient treatment.
  • Perform emergency procedures under supervision, consistent with your level of training and experience.
  • Participate in departmental teaching programs relevant to your career path.
  • Commence discharge planning at the earliest opportunity, ensuring drugs and equipment are ordered, post-discharge management provided, and communication with patient's carers and general practitioners occurs.
About You:
  • Hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner.
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with patients, family/relatives, and healthcare professionals.
  • Recognise personal and professional limitations and address them appropriately.
  • Have clinical experience in Emergency Medicine.
  • Meet the criteria for TS1-TS4 ACEM trainees or equivalent training programs.
  • International applicants must have successfully completed AMC 2 (clinical exam) or meet provisional registration criteria via the competent authority pathway.
