Job Title: Personal Care Assistant & Personal Care Assistant Trainee

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Australia. As a leader in the Aged Care industry, our client prides themselves on providing high-quality products and services to their customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with their personal care needs, including showering, dressing, and eating.
  • Support patients with their mobility and communication needs.
  • Participate in planning the care of individuals, including developing and implementing care plans.
  • Follow therapy plans, such as interventions to assist those with dementia and behavioral problems.
  • Observe and report changes in patients' condition, and report complaints about care.
  • Assist with rehabilitation exercises, basic treatment, and delivering medications.
  • Provide direct support and assistance to therapists.
Requirements:
  • Offshore: At least 12 months of experience (or study equivalent) in Personal Care Assistant within the last 24 months, and a PTE score of 30+.
  • Onshore: Opportunity for 462/485 Visa Holders.
Personal Care Assistant:
  • Have at least 2 years of work experience as a Personal Care Assistant.
  • Hold a relevant AQF Certificate III in Individual Support or higher qualification, or equivalent, or 3 years of relevant work experience to substitute for the qualification.
  • Meet the English language requirement: IELTS score of 5.0 overall, and minimum of IELTS score 4.0 for individual bands.
