We are seeking an experienced Diploma Assistant Director to join our team at Goodstart Lower Plenty.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate professional to take on a leadership role in our centre. As the Assistant Director, you will be responsible for supporting the Centre Director in leading the team to provide high-quality early learning and care.
- You will mentor and build capabilities within the centre team, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional outcomes for children.
- In the absence of the Centre Director, you will be responsible for the overall management of the centre, making strategic decisions to ensure its smooth operation.
- You will use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations.
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong background in early learning and leadership, with experience in mentoring and developing teams.
- An understanding of the Goodstart Practice Guide and the ability to apply it effectively in centre operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, families, and the local community.
