Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Asset Advisory Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and driven individual to step into a role which offers great potential for growth and development working on a diverse selection of secured major projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural design, with experience in forensic or remedial services. They will be responsible for undertaking varied engineering tasks and site investigations as part of the Asset Advisory team, through specifying testing requirements, interpreting test results, analysing structures, and determining innovative remedial solutions.

This role requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to develop their own team and client base. The ideal candidate will have a Chartered member (CPEng) of Institute of Engineers Australia and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) status.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake varied engineering tasks and site investigations
  • Specify testing requirements and interpret test results
  • Analyse structures and determine innovative remedial solutions
  • Develop competency in the forensic process and liaise with asset owners
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil/Structural Engineering
  • Eligible for membership of Engineers Australia or equivalent
  • Ideally holds RPEQ/CPEng status or is close to attaining
