Structural Engineer Opportunity

Ricaya Consulting Engineers, a progressive consultancy based on the Gold Coast, seeks an ambitious Structural Engineer to kick-start their career and grow with a dynamic team.

This role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects-from high-end architectural homes to multi-storey and commercial developments-where you'll learn directly from experienced engineers and be supported in developing your technical and professional skills.

About the Role
  • Assist in designing and analysing structural systems across residential and commercial projects.
  • Support the preparation of drawings, models, and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with architects, builders, and consultants to deliver practical, buildable solutions.
  • Attend site visits and meetings to gain real-world project experience.
  • Learn from senior engineers and contribute to a supportive, collaborative team environment.
  • Develop knowledge of Australian Standards, codes, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with design calculations and modelling.
  • Contribute to documentation and drafting support.
  • Participate in project coordination and team discussions.
  • Gain experience in client and consultant interaction.
  • Support site inspections under supervision of senior staff.
