Key Account Specialist Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers, upgrading or converting current customer accounts to value-added service offerings.

This role requires a consultative sales approach to attain minimum revenue and quota goals.

The sales representative will build a pipeline of potential future business through prospecting via marketing/lead campaigns, territory lists, the internet, and other sources.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our services to clients
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Receives inbound calls and makes outbound sales calls to perspective and existing customers to sell our services
  2. Acquires new customers and converts existing customers through prospecting in assigned territory, outbound marketing/lead campaigns and referrals
  3. Utilizes consultative selling strategies to attain minimum 100% of assigned revenue and quota goals

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in sales/marketing or related work experience, with a proven track record of managing and developing existing and prospective accounts.

A minimum of 2 years' experience in sales/marketing-related work experience is required, demonstrating ability to manage and develop existing and prospective accounts.

Candidates must have experience with customer relations, support, and exhibit leadership abilities. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook are required. Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool is preferred.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing, or equivalent in related work experience
  • 2+ years' experience in Sales/Marketing related work experience, demonstrating ability to manage and develop existing and prospective accounts
  • Experience with customer relations, support, and leadership abilities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CRM tools

The selected candidate will participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay up-to-date on company products and services, and to enhance their sales and customer service skills.
