Remote Oral Health Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Oral Health Therapists to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities.

This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

  • Work in partnership with local health teams to develop and implement healthcare plans that meet the unique needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical services to patients in a variety of settings, including community health centers and mobile clinics.
  • Conduct regular health checks, screenings, and interventions as required.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current Oral Health Scheduled Substance Treatment Protocol (SSTP) certificate.
  • Current NT Radiation License or application for NT Radiation License.
  • Minimum of Two years full-time post-graduate clinical relevant experience as an Oral Health Therapist.
  • Minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as an Oral Health Therapist within the past 12 months.
  • Current BLS / CPR Certificate.
