Job Title: Centre ManagerJob Description:

The Centre Manager will oversee the daily operations of a large community-based centre, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and regulations.

This role requires a leader who can guide, inspire and drive Montessori principles and practices in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing strong relationships with families and the community
  • Managing performance and success of the centre
  • Overseeing daily operations, including rostering and occupancy
  • Leading coaching developing and supporting professional growth of the team
  • Advocating for rights of every child within the centre
  • Implementing and evaluating quality programs that support development of all children

Maintenance of high health and safety standards at all times and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations are essential aspects of this role.

Requirements:

To be successful in this position you will need to hold a Diploma in Montessori (0-3 or 3-6) and a Diploma of Children's Services or higher.

A current Working with Children Check (VIC) and First Aid/CPR/Asthma/Anaphylaxis certificates are also required.

A minimum of three years' experience in a similar position effective communication and time management skills as well as familiarity with the Early Years Learning Framework Childcare Act and Regulations NQF NQS and VEYLDF are highly desirable.
