Developmental Paediatrics Specialist

This role offers the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive evidence-based services to infants, children and young people with developmental concerns. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans and delivering interventions to support clients and families.

About the Position:

  • The Child Development Service is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled professional who can support infants, children and young people with developmental delay or difficulties that impact on function, participation, and/or the parent-child relationship.
  • You will work closely with clinicians from various disciplines, including Clinical Psychologists, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers and other allied health professionals.
  • The position involves working in a variety of settings, including clinics, schools, homes and community locations, with opportunities for career progression and variety in roles.
  • You will have access to internal training events, self-directed learning packages and professional development leave to support your ongoing growth and development.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of infants, children and young people with developmental concerns.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans to support clients and families.
  3. Deliver interventions and therapies to support client progress.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
