Job Opportunity

This role involves implementing and improving health, safety, and environmental systems across allocated sites.

The position is assigned to two physical sites: Dandenong and Mickleham. The role will be based out of Dandenong with regular travel between the two locations as operationally required.

Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the HSE Management System in line with ISO 45001 and relevant WHS, environmental and psychosocial safety legislation.
  • Conduct risk assessments, maintain hazard registers, and track action close-out.
  • Monitor site compliance and complete inspections, audits and incident investigations.
  • Assist with emergency preparedness, plant and equipment safety, and coordination of environmental and radiation safety monitoring.
  • Maintain safety records and reports, ensuring inclusion of psychosocial risks and relevant mitigation strategies.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, compliance codes, safe work practices, including psychosocial safety legislation.
  • Understanding of psychosocial hazard management, including early identification, control measures and consultation practices.
  • Familiarity with GMP principles and experience in irradiation sterilisation processes (preferred).
  • Proven experience in incident reporting, risk and safety management within manufacturing or warehousing environments.
  • Ability to work within ISO frameworks.
