Research Assistant in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases

As a Research Assistant, you will play a vital role in our research efforts. We are looking for an individual who possesses strong research and laboratory skills to contribute to our understanding of gut inflammation and its relation to inflammatory bowel disease.

This position involves participating in designing, executing, and controlling research studies. You will be responsible for coordinating data processing and analysis, conducting experimental tests and procedures, analyzing literature relevant to the research area, and assisting in preparing research papers for publication and presentations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: A Research Higher Degree in Science or related field is required.
  • Skills: Strong research and laboratory skills, experience in animal models of disease, proficiency in molecular biology techniques (RNA and DNA isolation, PCR, cloning), high level interpersonal skills for effective communication, knowledge of data management systems, advanced computer skills, ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, organisational skills for managing large amounts of samples.
