Pathology Trainer Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Pathology Trainer. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our collectors, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to provide exceptional patient care.

About You:

  • You possess 5+ years of experience as a collector, with a proven track record of leadership and excellent communication skills.
  • You hold a Certificate III in Pathology Collection and Cert IV in Training & Assessment.
  • You have demonstrated expertise in adult and Paediatric specimen collection, including ECG, Holter, Swabs, Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor, Spirometry and Urine Drug Screening (AS4308) collections.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities:

  • To develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new collectors.
  • To maintain accurate training records and conduct regular assessments to track progress.
  • To stay up-to-date with industry developments and implement improvements to our training procedures.
  • To work collaboratively with the Collector Training Supervisor to ensure seamless delivery of training services.
