We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Merchandise Sales Representative to join our team at Norco Co. in a permanent part-time capacity, working two days a week with the flexibility to work a Saturday roster as required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide agricultural advisory and sales services to clients, building business partnerships through the provision of sound technical advice.
- Proactively source new customers to achieve branch KPIs and sales targets.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receipting, stocktake, and dispatch.
- Process sales and generate quotes.
You will need to be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with great customer service and sales experience. Able to meet deadlines while balancing a range of work and have a keen interest in an agricultural environment.
Requirements- Strong customer service and sales experience.
- Experience working in a rural retail and warehousing environment (highly desirable).
- Demonstrated understanding of the rural industry.
- Technical skills in Agricultural Science, Animal Health, or Agronomy (an advantage).
- Demonstrated excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office, POS, and administration skills.
- Physically fit to perform the manual handling aspects of the role.
- A strong focus on Work Health & Safety.
- Forklift license or willingness to obtain one.
