Seeking a highly experienced legal professional to provide expert advice and support on leasing, property transactions, development, and construction matters.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide authoritative legal guidance and support: Review, draft, negotiate, and manage leasing documents across various portfolios.
- Ensure compliance: Uphold industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage leasing portfolio: Maintain stakeholder relationships and communications with internal teams.
- Advise on construction arrangements: Provide expert counsel on construction law and negotiate agreements.
- Assist with property acquisitions: Support due diligence, drafting/negotiation of transaction documents.
- Implement legal technology tools: Participate in the implementation of innovative legal solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on legislation: Provide regular updates on the latest developments in property and leasing laws.
- Support reporting: Facilitate legal reporting for key stakeholders.
About You:
- Qualified lawyer with experience in property, commercial, and contracting law.
- Strong understanding of construction law and ability to take initiative.
- Minimum 4+ years relevant post-admission experience in-house or in private practice.
- Law degree from a reputable university.
- Current practicing certificate in a state Supreme Court or the High Court of Australia.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex matters effectively.
