Support Worker

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by providing individualized support and promoting independence. As a Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team that values compassion, respect, and inclusivity.


About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering person-centered care and a commitment to supporting individuals with diverse needs. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to design and implement personalized plans that promote empowerment, social inclusion, and community participation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as household chores and grocery shopping
  • Provide support with medication management and attending medical appointments
  • Facilitate social inclusion and community access through leisure activities and outings
  • Develop and implement behavior management strategies to promote positive outcomes
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization

Requirements:
  • A current Blue Card for Working with Children or eligibility to apply
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or eligibility to apply
  • A driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Completion of NDIS E-Learning modules
  • A smartphone with internet access
