Job Overview\

We are seeking a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to join our Utilities division in the Energy sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with local business management and workers to maintain a healthy and safe workplace.

\Key Responsibilities\
  • Provide coaching and advice on meeting work health and safety duties
  • Support management and workers in implementing policies and systems to meet legislative requirements
  • Promote a positive work culture and model safety leadership principles through regular field inspections and investigations
  • Assist business management in continually improving risk management capabilities
  • Provide specialist HSE advice on incident prevention and safety performance improvement
  • Support management in Return to Work Rehabilitation processes
\Requirements\
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role is desired
  • Working knowledge of legislation, standards and codes
  • Prior experience managing HSE requirements on major engineering or construction projects is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
