Job Role: Financial Crime Investigator

About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced investigator to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our financial crime unit, you will play a critical role in investigating fraud and scams to minimize losses and maximize recovery.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate complex cases reported by customers
  • Analyse data from multiple systems to reach objective conclusions on liability
  • Liaise with other financial institutions to recover customer and bank funds
  • Support senior investigators on complex case work as required
  • Collate documentation for regulators and law enforcement officers

You Will Bring:

  • A background in banking or financial services
  • Experience in investigations, forensic analysis, data analytics, or equivalent
  • Complex complaint handling skills
  • High-volume customer service experience
