Key Role: Team Leader in NDIS Home Care

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to oversee a team of support workers providing services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a dedicated team, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and quality standards, and collaborating closely with professionals involved in client care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of support workers by providing guidance, supervision, and ongoing training.
  • Ensure that all staff members comply with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Oversee client intake process including assessments, developing care plans, goal setting, and reviewing progress.
  • Monitor service delivery ensuring that all clients receive appropriate support according to their individual needs.
  • Collaborate closely with other professionals involved in client care such as therapists or healthcare providers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the disability or healthcare sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) guidelines and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team, including rostering, performance evaluations, and staff development.
