Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the delivery of top-tier water infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and strategic execution, managing design consultants and overseeing technical documentation for procurement and delivery.

About the Role:

  • Lead the design and delivery of major water infrastructure projects.
  • Provide engineering leadership and design advice for high-profile projects.
  • Implement engineering standards and frameworks, conducting regular reviews of systems, schedules, and consultant performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure safety, quality, and service needs are met throughout project phases.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, with a minimum of 10 years' professional experience.
  • Direct experience in design and delivery of civil construction contracts exceeding CAPEX $30M.
  • Significant experience in engineering design, review, and development of technical documents for water infrastructure and networks projects.
  • Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering services with internal and external stakeholders.
