About the Role

Our team is seeking a skilled General Practitioner to provide high-quality primary healthcare services to young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical assessments and treatments for physical and mental health issues.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to create Mental Health Care Plans that cater to diverse needs.
  • Respond promptly to patient concerns, including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and referral as appropriate.
  • Encourage young people to engage with sexual health and drug and alcohol services, promoting preventative healthcare practices.
Essential Criteria
  • Hold approved tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, with current registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical experience in youth health and mental health services, with evidence of applying effective practices in therapeutic settings.
  • Show proven ability to coordinate care for young people with diverse health needs, fostering collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Possess capacity to work effectively within a supportive and integrated work environment, embracing diversity and inclusivity.
