Tank Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Tank Superintendent to join our team in North Sydney. As a key member of our Defence Hub, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a national tank program of works across the Defence Fuel Network (DFN).

• Manage a team to coordinate the scoping, planning, and scheduling of a national tank inspection program with in-house Engineering and Operations teams.
• Support supplier engagement, procurement, and subcontracting of specialist tank inspection and maintenance services.
• Engage with Operating teams on-site to coordinate tank inspection periods, including rundown plans.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, project management) or strong industry and trade-based leadership experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical industry.
• Prior experience in managing major tank inspection work, tank repairs, and/or tank remediation works.
• Ability to oversee and coordinate multiple work fronts with support from local regional teams.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to effectively present complex information to stakeholders.
• Flexibility to travel to various sites across the network (regionally and nationally).
• Current holder or ability to obtain appropriate defence security clearance.
