About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the nursing workforce, improving patient outcomes, and implementing and improving patient flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of nursing workforce strategies to improve patient outcomes and patient flow.
- Provide strategic and clinical nursing leadership to the nursing and workforce teams.
- Collaborate with the Chief Operations Officer and Senior Leadership teams to drive business objectives.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practice.
- Manage budgets and resources to optimize healthcare outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a Senior Leadership role, preferably as a Director of Nursing.
- Demonstrated experience leading nursing workforce teams, after-hours managers, hospital coordinators, and relevant clinical professionals.
- Thorough understanding of regulations, policies, and best practice in healthcare.
- Experience working with healthcare funding and budgets.
- Relevant tertiary education within a Bachelor of Nursing.
- Full and Current AHPRA Registration.
- Recent experience working as a Director of Nursing within a hospital setting.
- Experience leading and managing a team.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
