About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Account Manager to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading biopharmaceutical company, driving growth and delivering value to our customers in the Oncology therapeutic area.

As an Oncology Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing accounts within your territory, providing a consistent, science-led and value-added service to Oncology Clinicians.

You will work closely with our commercial, medical and sales teams to deliver objectives in line with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement comprehensive key account plans to drive value and deliver growth
  • Support the implementation of key programs which differentiate and enhance GSK's standing in the healthcare market
  • Ensure that key accounts and stakeholders are engaged, educated and informed to support the patient journey and enhance the quality use of medicines
Requirements
  • Significant experience as a hospital specialist position, with an applied understanding of the complexities of working in the hospital environment and knowledge of the Oncology therapeutic area
  • Clear and influential communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both medical and commercial stakeholders
  • Aptitude for science, with the ability to relay complex information in a clear and tailored format
  • Sharp commercial focus complemented by outstanding account management, influencing and relationship-building skills
