Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at St Paul's College. As a key member of our educational support team, you will work with students who require assistance with communication and speech.

About the Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering therapy sessions to students in a group-based model alongside teachers
  • Implementing school-wide communication goals
  • Supporting students' communication needs through assessment, design, and production
  • Liaising with support services and professionals to address student communication needs
  • Contributing to Student Support Groups meetings
  • Providing professional development for school staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent qualification
  • A First Aid Certificate
  • A Working with Children check
Desirable Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working with students with disabilities
  • Knowledge and skills in implementing communication strategies and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) technologies
