As a key member of our Transportation Systems group, we seek an entry-level Traffic Engineer to collaborate on various projects across public, private, and institutional markets.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate is driven by a passion for traffic and transportation engineering, with a desire to implement practical solutions to real-world challenges for clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing comprehensive traffic and transportation planning and engineering strategies for diverse transportation projects
  • Conducting intersection and corridor operational analyses using industry-standard tools such as Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, Sidra, and other analysis software
  • Evaluating traffic improvements and analyzing data to inform design decisions
  • Creating conceptual intersection/roadway improvement designs and traffic signal plans in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
  • Compiling written reports, summarizing findings, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 0 to 1 years of experience in transportation, preferably in traffic or safety
  • Proficiency with Synchro/SimTraffic, Sidra, VISSIM, TransModeler, and/or other capacity software is highly desirable
