Job Title: Traffic Engineering Project Manager

As a traffic engineering project manager, you will be responsible for leading projects and teams to deliver high-quality results.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to ensure timely completion.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement traffic engineering solutions that meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including traffic operations managers and other departments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or transportation engineering from an accredited university. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Professional Engineer license (in NC and/or VA, SC). Ability to obtain a license in other states is beneficial.
  • 5+ years of experience in transportation engineering, preferably with a focus on traffic engineering.
  • Experience working with state and local public agencies, understanding their processes and procedures.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Synchro and other transportation engineering software packages standard in the industry, as well as Microsoft Office software.
