About the Role

As a key member of the Triple Zero Victoria team, the Principal Enterprise Architect will play a critical role in shaping the organization's technology vision and strategy. This senior leadership position is responsible for guiding the development of short to long-term technology solutions that enable the organization to achieve its mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a technology vision and strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives.
  • Provide strategic guidance on the adoption of new technologies and architectures.
  • Collaborate with business and ICT stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions that meet business needs.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to communicate the value of enterprise architecture and its services.
  • Design and build a high-performing team of internal and industry experts to deliver architecture services.
  • Drive the evolution of the architecture function, services, and operating model to ensure alignment with business and ICT strategies.
  • Facilitate alignment between business, ICT, and across the emergency services sector.
  • Coach and mentor Enterprise Architect practitioners to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver positive outcomes.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution, or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management, or operations in a multitier environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading architecture teams delivering positive and clear enterprise architecture outcomes.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture practices and the role of architecture in assuring technical integrity of ICT solutions.
  • Extensive experience in maintaining and improving technology landscapes in conjunction with lines of business.
