Housekeeping Team Leader Position

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead a team of housekeeping attendants, ensuring the hotel's housekeeping department operates efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Motivation: Lead and inspire a team of housekeeping attendants to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality service.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain housekeeping policies and procedures that adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Scheduling and Resource Management: Coordinate and schedule housekeeping staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of prior experience in a similar role within a large 5-star establishment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and guests.
  • High levels of organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
