Seeking a skilled Commercial Contracts Specialist to work on the Santos – DLNG site based in Northern Territory, Australia. Estimated duration of 6 months.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring successful financial and contractual delivery of the project. Key responsibilities include reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts to ensure compliance and effective communication across all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review contractual correspondence for management approval.
  • Prepare tender packages and contractual documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead negotiations on terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, client representatives, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and strong professional relationships.
  • Assist in developing project budgets throughout the project lifecycle and monitor progress against actuals.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Proven experience in contract administration within construction or engineering sectors, preferably in brownfield projects.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and commercial principles.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work both in the office and on-site, ensuring effective contract performance in varied environments.
