About the Role:

As a key member of the InvoCare Operations Support team, you will play a crucial role in driving business transformation and delivering impactful projects. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with various business support functions to facilitate large-scale implementation activities across all divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiation and Planning:
    • Lead Business Requirements (BRs) gathering and workshops with vendors or suppliers
    • Engage key business stakeholders in the configuration of applications or processes to match business needs
    • Develop business cases for new initiatives and projects, including risk management assessments
    • Establish governance structures and seek innovative ways to reduce costs while maintaining quality
  • Execution and Delivery:
    • Implement evaluation methods to monitor integration performance and determine remedial actions
    • Supervise major project activities and resolve complex problems with business divisional managers
    • Enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people
    • Apply best practice change and risk management principles
  • Resource Management:
    • Identify key resources and establish project teams
    • Develop team members and ensure tasks align with their career interests
    • Resolve issues and conflicts within integration projects
    • Work with business unit managers to secure internal resources as required
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management:
    • Set and manage stakeholder expectations with a fit-for-purpose communication strategy
    • Communicate integration risks and issues to relevant stakeholders and escalate where necessary
    • Support the business in disseminating current project news for optimal understanding

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management or a related field
  • Proven experience in coordinating major business change events
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management software, including Confluence, Jira, Trello, or similar
  • Ability to establish governance structures and lead diverse teams towards common goals
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to ensure a comprehensive understanding of business processes
  • Effective communication with executive levels and the ability to manage major decision points
  • Strong commercial acumen, financial literacy, negotiation skills, and project management capability
  • High attention to detail, objective mindset, and collaborative nature
  • Knowledge of finance practices and management would be highly regarded, but not essential
