About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our structural engineering group, you will be responsible for delivering complex infrastructure projects across various sectors.

Your primary focus will be on leading and coordinating project teams, ensuring timely completion, and managing budgets. You will work closely with our clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver infrastructure projects on time and within budget
  • Coordinate and collaborate with engineers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through effective communication and issue resolution
  • Manage and control project budgets, including cost estimation, forecasting, and reporting
  • Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and identify potential issues to mitigate risks
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in infrastructure development
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on finding creative solutions
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar
  • A CPEng qualification or willingness to obtain it
