Job Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Credit Manager. The successful candidate will have expertise in assessing credit risk for various transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, project finance, leveraged finance, and trade finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough analysis of credit risk for different sectors such as infrastructure, energy, mining, real estate, and natural resources.
- Prepare comprehensive credit due diligence reports, rating recommendations, risk alerts, and ongoing monitoring of credit performance.
- Collaborate with business functions to facilitate the credit application and approval process.
- Provide guidance on mitigating potential risks associated with customers, industry sectors, and transaction structures.
- Carry out other credit and risk management tasks as assigned.
Skill Requirements:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in analyzing structured transactions.
- Independent decision-making skills and ability to identify risks with reasonable solutions.
- Strong writing skills to produce comprehensive due diligence reports.
- Tertiary degree in commerce, business, or finance.
- Good knowledge of corporate finance and institutional banking products.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for financial modeling, data manipulation, and analytics.
- Excellent verbal and written language skills; proficiency in Chinese Mandarin is desirable.
