Job Title: Water Features Technician
">This position is responsible for the maintenance and servicing of water features in public parks and gardens. The successful candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, irrigation, and stormwater management.
">- Maintain all water assets to ensure they are clean and safe for public use.
- Service fountains and ponds daily to prevent litter and debris from accumulating.
- Regularly test and chemically dose water to maintain optimal quality.
- Perform major cleans and repairs of water features as needed.
- Servicing and maintaining UV lamps, aerators, filters, and pumps.
- Assist with plumbing, irrigation, and stormwater tasks as required.
- Keep accurate records of issues, defects, and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to quote new or reinstated works.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and supervise their work.
- Be available for on-call shifts when necessary.
Requirements:
">Certificated Plumber AQF Level 4 qualification.
">Experience in maintaining, installing, and repairing fountains, ponds, and water features.
">Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
">First Aid Certificate.
">Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
">Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
">Strong interpersonal skills.
">Highly motivated, team-oriented, and able to work independently.
">Working With Children Check.
