We are seeking a skilled Site Operations Coordinator to join our structures team at the Alkimos Desalination Project in Perth. The role involves planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating assigned engineering work in line with project needs.
Responsibilities:- Conduct weekly site safety and environmental inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Review designs, perform quantity take-offs, and manage procurement through work packages and RFQs, optimizing project efficiency.
- Develop construction methodologies and compile detailed work packs aligned with design and specifications, enhancing project delivery.
- Plan and manage 3–4-week lookahead schedules, monitoring progress using Aphex and activity diaries.
- Coordinate on-site construction activities, maintaining redline drawings for as-built documentation, ensuring accurate records.
- A strong understanding of construction methodologies, including planning, execution, and control.
- Proficiency in project scheduling and progress tracking using tools like Aphex and activity diaries.
- The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, applying knowledge to inform decision-making.
