About the Role

This is a pivotal position for an ambitious sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As an Industrial Automation Sales Professional, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth in the industrial automation sector. Your expertise will enable you to understand customer requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the industrial automation market in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and networking.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and industry influencers to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase Diverseco's equipment, products, and services.
  • Generate sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet and potentially exceed sales budgets and gross profit targets.
  • Maintain your knowledge of key industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in the automation market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • You possess exemplary customer service skills, being both positive and proactive with strong accuracy and attention to detail in completing and following through on all aspects of the sales process.
  • A proven sales achievement record and experience in capital sales roles that sold technical products and solutions are essential.
  • A solid network of contacts that enables a wide range of industry leads and opportunities.
  • Self-confidence, persuasiveness, and the ability to analyse customer needs and deliver exceptional outcomes to suit those needs.
  • Discipline of CRM usage, and a strong proficiency in all Microsoft packages.
  • A strong team player with a commitment to individual goal achievement and team goal achievement.
