Your role in our Allied Health Department involves working as a highly motivated and passionate Physiotherapist (Grade 1) on a permanent full-time basis.

Our areas of specialty include rehabilitation, orthopaedics, surgical, general medicine, oncology and ICU. You will have the opportunity to rotate throughout these wards with mentoring and supervision for graduates and Grade 1s available.
Shifts are rostered Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.06pm with one weekend every 8 weeks (approximately).The Position

Provide high quality evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for all patients/clients.

  • Work with the patient to develop appropriate physiotherapy treatment goals and plans.
  • Establish and maintain direct working relationships with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

Use evidence-based patient treatment outcome measures and patient feedback satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities. Participate in the physiotherapy department weekend roster if required.

Assist with education and training programs for students as requested.

To succeed you should have experience in providing evidence-based physiotherapy practices in clinical settings, excellent verbal & written communication skills and be able to work independently and within a team.

A successful applicant must be currently registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA). Post-graduate qualifications in the relevant area will be highly regarded.
