Job Title: Pathology Collector

The primary function of a pathology collector involves collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients with the utmost care and attention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting biological samples (blood and non-blood) with meticulous care and attention
  • Maintaining precise records for every patient and sample
  • Preparing and packaging specimens for transportation and testing purposes

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Effective time management, organisational, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently in a clinic environment
  • Provision of proof of vaccination against preventable diseases such as Hepatitis B and COVID-19 is required
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection would be advantageous

Training will be provided upon commencement, ensuring the successful candidate has the necessary skills to excel in this role.
