We are seeking experienced healthcare professionals to join our team in Eastern Melbourne as Intensive Care Nurses. The successful candidate will provide high-quality intervention radiology and recovery services in a busy clinic environment.
- Scrub/scout for complex diagnostic and radiology procedures, including monitoring sedated patients in theatres.
- Assist Radiologists with interventional procedures, including informed consent, medical history assessment, baseline observation monitoring, and patient recovery post-procedure.
- Interventional procedures include central venous access device insertion/removal, angiograms +/- embolisation, biopsies, lumbar punctures, drainages, and pain management injections.
- Work collaboratively with Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, technical and administrative staff, and managers.
- Full AHPRA Registration as a Div 1 Registered Nurse.
- Proven acute nursing experience.
- Ability to work effectively and autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills.
