Teaching is an incredibly rewarding profession that offers a chance to shape young minds and contribute to the development of future generations. As a Range 2 Classroom Teacher, you will play a significant role in assisting the school to improve student performance and educational outcomes.

The successful candidate will have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students, with a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy skills. They will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching other teachers in the school, providing expert advice on curriculum design and delivery, and supervising and training student teachers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;
  • Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school;
  • Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal;
Requirements:
  • Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching;
  • Qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in the relevant curriculum area(s) specified for the position;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues;
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
  • Capacity to reflect on and continually improve teaching practice;
