Job Title: Accredited Practising Dietitian

We are seeking an individual to join our health team as an Accredited Practising Dietitian. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive diabetes self-management programs in both group and one-on-one settings.

The successful candidate will have experience in a clinical or community setting, providing education, information and support in both group and one-to-one situations. They will also have experience liaising with general practitioners and health professionals, as well as participation in youth activities and development of health programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Diabetes Education: Provide education, information and support to individuals and groups on diabetes management.
  • Liaise with Healthcare Professionals: Work effectively with general practitioners and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop Health Programs: Participate in the development and implementation of diabetes programs and services.
  • Continuing Professional Education: Commit to ongoing professional education and training to stay up-to-date with best practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • A Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Holds Accredited Practising Dietitian qualifications through Dietitians Australia
  • At least 3-5 years' experience working in dietetics at a clinical or community level
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering health education in various settings
