Community Support Volunteer Role in Rockhampton

The Australian Red Cross is currently seeking Community Support Volunteers to assist at an Accommodation Centre in Rockhampton.
Our team of volunteers work closely together to create a welcoming environment for people receiving medical treatment from rural and remote areas. The role involves assisting with administrative tasks, coordinating using MS Office or similar packages, and working collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Create a supportive environment for clients receiving medical treatment.
- Assist with daily operations and coordinate tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and minimal supervision requirements.
- Effective communication skills with diverse communities.
- Excellent time management and organisation abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Able to work flexibly with minimal supervision.
As a volunteer, you will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support, along with access to other opportunities within the humanitarian network.
