Branch Run Shop Volunteer - Rockhampton QLD at Australian Red Cross

Responsibilities
  • Sorting and labeling donated items
  • Serving customers and providing great customer service
  • Handling money and end-of-day register reconciliations if comfortable
  • Supporting the Rockhampton Branch Executives in the efficient and effective running of the shop
Requirements
  • Must be able to commit to a shift on a regular basis
  • Please list your times and days of availability on the application form
  • Willingness to undertake a National Police Check through Red Cross
  • The role requires an ongoing weekly commitment
The program

Helping locals and regulars feel at home in our store and providing great customer service. The Red Cross Shop Volunteer is a voluntary position, working with a team responsible for supporting the Rockhampton Branch Executives in the shop, which is operated by Rockhampton Red Cross branch as a fundraising activity.

The impact

You will provide a positive experience and a much-needed service to customers at the Red Cross Rockhampton shop, while fundraising for Australian Red Cross. Red Cross will provide training, ongoing support, and access to other opportunities within the world's largest humanitarian network.
